Welcome to the Contemporary section of the board. Here you can RP anything that would fall under the Contemporary category normally in writing and literature. This includes, but is not limited to: modern day school (sometimes known as slice of life type writing), RPs in existing cities with present day technology, and existing places or RPs that involve contemporary people (i.e. characters meeting the actor Jack Black). This could also include people traveling through time TO the contemporary age, though that could also fall under sci-fi as well.
SOME GENERAL RULES (some reminders too)
- If you are doing mature content, please place a warning.
- If you are doing a RP that is not open, please use your first post to indicate the characters (or use the title)
- If you need to or would like to create a character profile for a specific RP you are doing, feel free to do so in the Character Archives section.
- If you create a profile, please link to it in your first post.
- RPs not following the rules will have the users warned, then the RP will be deleted.
- Remember, this isn't just an anime specific RP board, though you are free to do anime/manga/video game/etc inspired RPs as well.
- Just keep in mind that because there are no character 'claims' like other boards, more than one person could end up being the same character if you are doing such a RP.
